ROCHON PREMIUM BRANDS NAMES ANGIE BROWN VICE PRESIDENT

(Dallas, TX August 8, 2011) –Rochon Premium Brands, producer and seller of a line of high end gourmet products, has named Angie Clayton Brown as vice president in charge of sales. The announcement was made by John Rochon Jr., the company’s chief executive officer.
In her new role as vice president, Ms. Brown will oversee a growing sales force, currently numbering more than 30 representatives, in the U.S. and internationally.
The company is concentrating its current domestic sales efforts in the four largest U.S. markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth. In addition, the company has signed a distribution agreement with a global marketing company to support sales in selected markets outside the United States. International efforts are underway in such markets as Toronto, Hong Kong, Paris, London, Dubai and Riyadh.
"These gourmet products that we are bringing to discerning customers are not at all like mass-produced products made by competitors," said Mr. Rochon. Our philosophy is that an important segment of today’s marketplace still cares about absolute quality and products with unique stories to tell. Those are the customers to whom we are offering our premium products and we have had an incredibly enthusiastic response."

Before joining Rochon Premium Brands, Ms. Brown was a writer and editor at a Dallas events publication and an events planner. She is trustee and corporate secretary with the Frank and Betty Hedrick Foundation. She has done extensive volunteer work with such organizations as Community Partners of Dallas, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Wichita Art Museum, The Elisa Project, Healing PATH Foundation and the Kansas Children’s Service League. She received her bachelor’s degree at Wichita State University and her master’s degree at Southern Methodist University.
Rochon Premium Brands’ customers include luxury hotels, exclusive private clubs and top restaurants. Its products are not available through stores, but can only be purchased through direct contact with merchants representing the company.
